WriteOutdoors and Ron Hustvedt have a lot of friends that we work with and work for. Here are a few of them for you to visit along with a few others we just think are pretty cool.

What would I be without the Outdoor News? I got my first break in the outdoor industry when Publisher Glenn Meyer told the newly hired Editor Rob Drieslein that he wanted to give me a shot to freelance write for them. That was back in 1997 and I've written hundreds of articles since in the Minnesota edition as well as the Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, New York and Pennsylvania editions. Still my favorite publication to write for by far!

Fathead Guide Service and Promotions is the very best of friends with WriteOutdoors and Ron Hustvedt. If you are looking to catch fish then you need to contact Bryan "Beef" Sathre. If you are looking for promotional support then "Beef" is the guy to contact. His enthusiasm, honest and genuine love of the outdoors is contagious which is why numerous national companies utilize his skills to help promote their products. He is also passionate about promoting the outdoors to young people and has received awards for his work in this area.

WriteOutdoors is what Ron Hustvedt does in his spare time...when he's not being an award-winning Social Studies Teacher. He's been appointed by the Governor to a state standards review committee, the National History Day Merit Teacher of the Year, a top ten Minnesota Teacher of the Year, a National Magnet Teacher of the Year, a National Council for the Social Studies Teacher of the Year, Minnesota Council for the Social Studies Teacher of the Year, a WEM Foundation Outstanding Academic Achievement Coach Awardee, and an Albert Small Normandy Institute Teacher...among several other honors. Most of all, he gets high praise from his students and their parents while doing what he loves to do. This love of teaching others also translates to teaching about the outdoors.
